170k and they want $18.7k. over the top. They probably gave the buyer $10k on trade.

Here is 2010 Trail Edition for sale for $20k. Similar mileage too. Must be the going price for these.

I'd personally consider those to be two very different vehicles - the Trail Edition was a mainstay for the entire 5th generation 4R, starting in 2010 when the 5th gen came out. There have probably been tens of thousands of 5th gen Trail Editions produced and sold. This is not an uncommon vehicle.

The 2009 Trail Edition was the only model and year of the 4th gen to offer an electronic rear locker and ATRAC; it also came stock with Bilstein shocks from the factory, waterproof seats, and a very unique Tom Tom radio with a removable GPS unit. It's got the off-road bells and whistles of an FJ, but four doors and a rear window that rolls down. Probably less than 1000 produced in total. Quite a rare bird, really.
