2010-13 OG 5th Gen Morimoto Retrofit

Finished my custom retrofit last weekend. Wanted to be a little different so I went with color matched housings and matte black interior. Morimoto H1 minis and Acme ballasts (retrofit source) and BxBuilt custom hi beams. Super happy with how they turned out.

Nice Writeup.

I'm in the learning stages here, so be gentle. If I only want to upgrade my low beams to HID, it looks like I'd only need #1-5 of your materials list, right?

If I want to restore my housings while I'm at it (they're a little hazy), would you recommend doing that on the vehicle or off? Before or after the retrofit?
