2010=4 door FJ?

Wishful thinking, but with all the toyota SUV's I see no need for another living room suv like the current 4R. A True 4 door FJ Cruiser set up would be the way to go! No more leather. No more carpet. They already ruined the land cruiser so how about saving the 4R.

I read in last month's Car & Driver...that the FJ Cruiser is going to be discontinued in 2010.

I think he either meant "soccer mom" or he just does not like carpet. As for the Land Cruiser comment, I have to disagree. I wheel with a 99 Land Cruiser and all I can say is "wow" that thing is amazing.

If by "living room SUV" the OP means something bloated and too large for its purpose just to satisfy American big-is-better tastes then I agree -- the T4R is too big. If it gets any bigger I'll be disappointed. Shave a few inches off the length (perhaps off those rediculous bumpers) and I might go for a 5th Gen
