2010 4runner will be onsite for sales people

I just received a call from my scott clarks toyota dealer here in charlotte and they told me they will have two 2010 4runners onsite on thursday for a special event (sales/drive event) for just the salemen. He said you cant drive one but you can atleast see one in person. I'm going to try and leave work and go check it out. they said it was from 9-4. Anyone else know about any type of event like this going on prior to them showing up for sale in the dealerships? He also said they would be arriving late Oct early Nov.

I bet this will be common across dealerships prior to the official release. Definitely worth a call to your local dealer!

Now you make sure you take some good pictures and be prepared to tell all in detail! Let us know the interior quality for all interior parts, please confirm if all 4runners have a fixed mast antenna :sobbing: Since you can't drive one, let's look at the petty things imp:

they also said they have a commitment from toyota to have some to sell by the end of October, but thats a car salesman talking

I'd really like to drive one at a public event or demo day or something like that, so I don't have to deal with the meat head sales people to drive one here in the next couple of months.

No pictures but i can confirm some things i saw today. They had the two trucks locked up. The white sr5 they had onsite had an old school mast atenna and so did the black limited they had. The Sr5 had a piece of chrome about 1 or 2 inchs wide down near the bottom of the truck almost near where the running boards would go. I didn't like where the window controls are, they are at the top of the door right next to the glass. The interior looks nice. The doors have more "leather" on them. the Sr5 didn't have standard audio controls or any controls on the steering wheel. If you are in Charlotte go to scott clarks toyota and check them out. Both trucks had florida tags on them. The southeast training rep was onsite training the dealers on the new car.

I ended up leasing a 2010 rav 4 today for 3 years instead of getting a 4runner. I'm going to miss my 05 4unner but I'm trying to scale back right now funds are short and I really didnt need the bigger engine in the 4runner i needed better gas mileage. I wish the 4runner had about a 236 hp and got about 22 in the city. That would be perfect for me. I'm planning on getting a new 4unner in 2013 now

I wish I had seen this earlier today or yesterday...I would have gone out there...though, now that I do know there are more QC T4Rs, we should do a meetup!
