Overall, they look the same except for a few color additions/subtractions. Also, auto-dimming mirror with backup camera is a new features available.

I like the TT package they offer. Apparently Toyota think that by changing colors on bumpers, roof, door handles etc then that makes it more off-road worthy! The only 'trail' enhancement it gets are A/T tires, everything else are options anyway.

Toyota, if you're reading this, how about taking this trail edition thing a little more seriously? A lift kit is sorely needed, and I'm sure your engineers can adapt the 70 series Cruisers solid front axle to fit the FJ (with front diff lock). Look at Jeep Wrangler sales, you can definately steal more of that market if you just actually look at what offroaders really want.
