Installed on Saturday. After two days with about 180 miles on it, the suspension seems to be settle down enough for a final measurement.

FRONT: Measured from the top of wheel well to the gound.
before: after:
FL= 32 3/4---------------> 34 3/4
FR= 33.00---------------> 34 11/16

REAR: Measured from the top of wheel well to the ground.

RL= 35 3/4---------------> 36.00
RR= 35 3/4---------------> 36.00

I love the ride, much firmer and quieter than the XREAS. However, I do not like the way it look now. I know, most of you guys like to even out the front-end with the rear-end, but I kind of get used to the diving nose. The nose is stick up almost two inches that caused the nerf bar about an inch and a half higher up front and slant down toward the rear. Oh! Got couple of peoples flashed at me last night due to the headlights are too high, just readjusted this evening. I'm thinking to redo the front with the OEM springs + FJ shocks this coming weekend to lower the nose an inch or so.

get rear spacers or some new coils so your back doesnt sag. only way to fix it..

FJ springs on a 2wd do crazy things it seems, some get much more than others. Looks good imo, but if you want some of it back put in a 1.5 Daystar spacer in the rear. Install is easier than redoing the front and you will not sacrifice the ride quality you have now. Look up member euy, you would end up pretty close to what he has, probably just a tad bit lower in the front.

Hey Chris, there's NO spacer being used, Just OEM FJ spring & shock combo. I'm thinking replacing FJ spring with stock spring. What do you think?
Don

WOW!

What I think is to each his own. I fully appreciate your dilemma, I don't like nose-up either unless it's a full blown Pre-Runner style rig with big A/T or M/T tires on wide rims. If I had your rig I'd go for the 1.5" spacers in the rear. For me I wouldn't want to be without the FJC springs in the front. I hated the brake dive with the OE springs, I hated the fact it felt like it was bottoming out on speed bumps etc. I also like the handling of the FJC springs too much to go "backwards".

I say as the others have said, get the back up a bit and that'll be a great driving, very nice looking ride. I might shoot for a 1" rear spacer vs. the 1.5". Watch classifieds for a used Cornfed 2/1 here, at T120 and the FJC forums. Use just the 1" rear spacer.

Take a floor jack and a 2x4 to GENTLY raise the body 1.0"-1.5" (measured at the wheel lip) by pushing on the trailer hitch or even the spare. I wouldn't lift more than 1.5" if you end up pushing it up by the spare. You can get a good idea of how it'll look by doing that and stepping back a few feet.

:cheers:

Ah! Good idea just to see how she will look like with her butt up. I'll do that as soon as I get home today. This is considered as plant A. If I don't like it I will go with plant B (FJC shock + OEM spring). I do have access to a mechanic high lift & professional tools so it should not take more than an hour to redo the front. Thanks again for your input and advices. I'll keep you guys post with the next setup.

Yeah! The FJ spring only appx. an inch taller than the OEM when I measured, but the FJ is much beefier in wire thickness. I thought the heavy V8 plus the bull bar will keep the nose down at 1" lift level but I was wrong. It's actually close to 2" lift. Thanks for the tips
