From pics, it looks like normal BFG AT KO to me. With the Rubi, you can tell right away the different tread pattern. Notice how they say how QUIET it is on the highway! BFG AT KO is really a great AT tire, bar none. Built extremely well. When it comes to an AT tire that can absorb punishment and still have decent on-road manners, you can't beat BFG AT KO.

Ford Raptor??

So I was looking at some YouTube videos of the 4R and enjoying my daily dose of stupid people comments when I saw multiple references to some Ford Raptor.

After asking google, i found ford's glamor page:

Apparently its a factory modded f150 they took to baja (the year prior to the 5th gen 4R). Thoughts on it? I personally thought it was ridiculous looking when I first saw it. After clicking thru their site it kinda grew on me. But I dont need a pickup truck. And I certainly don't need a $42k+ truck.

It's a cool truck. I wouldn't mind owning one. Comes stock with a nice suspension, 35 inch BFG KOs, and some other goodies.

Its way under powered by today's standards for a factory modded truck. I have read FORD is planning on putting their bigger engine (i think it was a 6.0L) that would put out in the mid 400 HP.

Otherwise I agree with the above comments, good suspension 35s but agree i dont need a pickup

See a few TV segments and read a couple articles on it. Seems like it is a fun 'toy' Personally I do not like the style of it. As the other poster said it is underpowered (noted by the segments & articles as well).

The Raptor is SERIOUSLY cool.

The 6.2 is rated at 411 horsepower and 434 pounds-feet of torque, and will be arriving at dealerships in late April.

Way more truck than I need, but it sure would be cool.

It's cool... it's seriously cool.

And more importantly I think its indicative of what FORD is becoming. Less afraid, less old-school... more "designed" than in the past. Its great seeing Ford and Lincoln getting their groove on.

I owned a 03 Super Duty... drove that thing hard - took it off-road to places I probably shouldn't have... where guys were saying "WTF are you doing here with that..." and it always performed like a champ, not one issue.

Ford is definitely changing the game.

Aren't all gov't vehicles american made? Except for 1 (4th gen 4R) that i know of.

Maybe at the Federal level. Local and state governments here use Toyotas, mainly Prius and Camry. There are also Honda Civics, CNG and Hybrid. One state senator bought a Highlander that's paid for by tax dollars.
