So I went tonight and looked at a 5th Gen at Hooman Toyota in Long Beach. Pretty cool ride. Not so sure about the front end though. Does not look like there is a way to mount a SW bumper. Has anyone mounted one yet.

Oh,I almost forgot why I was here. Have you used the Crawl Control? what is your opinion of that feature and over all about the runner in the 2010 year.

Thanks ahead of time.

SW and ARB are both in the process of making a bumper for the 5th gen. so I don't think anyone has mounted one yet.

I played around with crawl control, didn't really see much advantage for it so I turned it off.

I've used the crawl control off road a couple times just to mess with it, had to use the locker 3 times to get out of jams since all the electronic stuff didn't get me through. Basically, what I determined is that the crawl control will mostly come in handy while on very rocky terrain. Usually from all the jarring around, my foot will be jumpy on the gas pedal, and the truck will lose power or jolt forward, the crawl control will prevent all the sudden throttle changes. Many off road crawlers have hand operated throttle controls connected to the throttle cable, Toyota decided to incorporate this mod into the off road electronic system which in my opinion is pretty cool. Most people will never use it but it's there just in case.
