2010 Toyota 4Runner

I drove by the local dealership tonight to check out the new '10 4Runners, but they did not have any in stock yet. A salesman was just leaving for the night, and he said that a bunch of them were "on the way" to them.

He gave me a brochure, which has photos and features. Apparently, the new 2010 (5th Generation) will ONLY come with the 4.0L DOHC V6, but it has more power and (supposedly) gets better fuel mileage than the previous model. No V8 is going to be offered this time.

We did not discuss price or anything (not a good idea on a first visit anyway), so I'll have to check back on that later. He said he would drop me an e-mail when they arrive. I had a 2005 SR5 V6 4x4 for three years (leased) and I loved it.....but it ate too much fuel - even more than does my V8 Ford Mustang GT.
:cry2:

Don't know if I'll get another 4Runner - but it is possible if the numbers work right for me. It kind of looks like a Sequoia from the side and a Tundra from the front; but that is only what I see in the photo. It may look entirely different in person. Trending much the same as most of us, the 4Runner is bigger and heavier than ever before - which requires more power to get it down the road. LOL!
