Does anyone know the model no. for the JBL DSP 10 channel amp used in the factory Premium sound setup in the 2010 Toyota 4runner.
I found a person at Harman who is willing to track down manuals, specs., wiring diagrams, etc. if I can give him the model number.
I am designing some sound system upgrades that utilize the stock nav system that will blow away the stock system as well as most aftermarkets for about $1000 - $1200 as long as you are looking for quality (audiophile) sound with tight, accurate bass and not that distorted shake the body, the car, the world stuff.
There's a lot of money already put into the Nav screen and amp so it would be a waste to upgrade the whole system. Toyota charges $4000+ for the option that also includes the moon roof. As a parts replacement, Toyota charges $4000+ just for the nav and amp.
I got the speakers down really sweet. Need to know what the factory DSP crossovers are and what can be fine tuned. Once I get it tuned, I'll let everyone know the details.
