It would be nice to not have to manually downshift to 3rd while going up I-70W to the mountains.
If they can keep the cost around $3k, I will be getting this. My fear is it will be closer to $7k+

Plus install costs.

I won't begrudge anyone for buying one of these, its your money not mine.

I just don't see the value at 6-8K for what will be not a lot of boost, increasing complexity, fuel costs, etc.

Raptor is very likely my next truck.

If your platform requires almost the original cost of the truck just to solve suspension and power issues, your platform has been outclassed, big time. The 4Runner has now become the JKU of the Toyota world, and that's not a compliment.

My buddy had a Raptor 6.2L and had 3 engines put in it over the course of 8 months. Had to get Legal counsel for Ford to buy it back. Definitely not Toyota quality right there. To each his own.

Just did 1900 miles through Baja with those Raptors, the closest one got to breaking was a bad starter motor that was found out to have been installed improperly by a dealer.
