i can't see that ad when i visit the site myself, but that's really odd… looks like toyota corporate ad. how could they screw that up?

haha that is definitely a typo because as of now there is no V8 option just 4 and 6. The new 4.6 V8 has more then 260 hp also the new V6 has 260 so im guessing its a typo.

well, at least someone claims to have seen some kind of report of a v8 coming back at some point. (it's just a single instance, but still…)

It is wierd, but the fact that they put 4.7 AND V8 makes you wonder... hmmm

Either way I'm getting one of these after i've run my new 3rd gen into the ground.

Looks like a typo/mistake. Would not be the first or last time something like this happens.

A lot of times dealers print ads like this intentionally. I went to a dealer before where the printed the impossible configuration, they just went on to say they made a mistake, but here's what they have and on special. It's a way for them to get you to go in and visit the showroom.

Sounds like a form of "Bait & Switch". Then again, are not a least a few auto dealers know for using this tactic?
