2010 vs 2011 LTD, differences?

My 2011 has landed and is being prepared for delivery sometime this week. I've already ordered the cravenspeed antenna because that obviously won't be different, but I'm also planning to order the xpel brand paint protection film (had it on my last 2 vehicles and would not have a car without it ever) and the WT floorliners. However, I'm a little weary of any changes, as slight as they may be, that would make the 2010 stuff not fit.

I checked the Toyota.com site, but it was of little help. I'd hate to order the film and liners and have them not fit, then have to deal with returns

So, has anyone received/purchased a 2011, and can you confirm whether the exterior and interior are unchanged?

Any help or positive information is greatly appreciated

FYI to those with a 2011: Xpel has the 2011 kits on the website now. I don't know if there are differences or not, but it's available for order

True, but I had no choice since it had to be special ordered (third row, LTD, and BP color lol)

I highly doubt you'll get any issues with the liners. Too early to stress over that for a second year model. I would expect the liners from a 2010 to fit any 5th gen down to the very end of its generation. The exception would be possibly the cargo liner if Toyota ditches the sliding shelf or change that up. But it would pretty expensive to change the floor pan design and really there's no reason to.

Regarding the paint protection film, I don't think there will be any subtle changes to the body that you can't see. The changes Toyota make are usually very visible to the body that will affect fitment. The only time where they made a subtle like this was the lower grille in the bumper from the 2007 to 2008 4Runner. Even then, it wouldn't have affected the film.

Ya, but with the xpel film, at least there's a specific part number for the '11s so I don't have to fret over it.

My poor wife's been driving her dad's spare car I've nicknamed the "hooptie" lol. Some 90'ish sentra with no power steering and a clutch that has to be literally pushed through the bottom of the floorboard to catch. Plus, the airbag light's flashing and the check engine light is on lol

I think she's looking more forward to it than me, especially since it's her car haha

Just had a look at a 2011 at my local dealer.

Two things stood out:

Ride height: The front end looks just a little higher and level compared to all the others I have seen. The ground was level so its not a trick photo. It is noticably higher in the front than the 2010 LTD 2WD next to it (silver), but I also looked at some 2010 LTD 4WDs on the forum and they seem to have slightly nose done stance.

Rear seat headrests: It did not have 3rd row but the rear seat headrests were as tall as the front seat, but narrower and could flip fwd like the ones you usually see on the 3rd row. They were not the same as the ones on the 2011 SR5 which also differ from the 2010 though. I assume this allows you to tumble the backrest fwd with or without the squabs lifted without removing the headrests.

Lastly, I saw backup camera in rearview mirror std, perhaps that was std in 2010 but I like that.

2wd Ground Clearance is 9.0"

4wd Ground Clearance is 9.6"

You mentioned 2wd & 4wd, but did not say specifically if that was a 2wd next to a 4wd in that photo, if so the above explains the difference.

Lastly, I saw backup camera in rearview mirror std, perhaps that was std in 2010 but I like that.

It is an option depending on the package you pick, on the SR5, I believe it is std in the TE & LE if you do not opt for the nav system.
