2011 front bumper removal

Can anybody help me with this? My I.T. guy can't even get the repair manual to open. My TE headlights came in and from what I understand you have to remove the front bumper to install. If anybody can post the page from the manual with the instructions or even email them to me I would be greatly in your debt. I have heard it is not that difficult but ya never know.

Don't tell me you're going to go to all that trouble and just slap the oem TE lights in without retrofitting them????????????

Philsey, on a scale of 1-10 how hard was it to pull the bumper? Any advice to share?

Did you read my thread that Harper referred you to? Not sure I can add much.

Wrenches like Harper have done it many times - for him it's a 2. For me, it was a 5 the first time, now it'd be a 4.

It's not technical, more a pita. Advice? Have a helper. Another pair of hands is just easier.

Well, that might just have to go on the Mods to do list. That does look pretty insane. Definately below the lift and tires though. Thanks for the quick replies and links guys. Were any of those clips hard to find or were they all pretty noticeable?

You don't actually have to remove the bumper to install the lights. Just remove the grill, unbolt the sides of the bumper from the inner fender well, undo the top of the bumper cover, and then just pop it out enough to get to the side bolt. Takes me only 15 mins or so now.

Starting on this tomorrow after work. I sure hope it is as easy as it sounds. If it is I will have my OEM lights up for sale if anybody is interested in doing a HID conversion or something else.

Glad it worked out. Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with switching out the headlights.
