Yeah I agree. And the sedan is cheaper than the vert... now if they made a good looking coupe... that might be another story

x2. Now, let me tell you a little story. I used to own a BMW M3 Coupe several years ago. I was on the M3forum.net. Anyway, there was a get-together somewhere in California and there were many M3s there. They were driving around on the mountains when one of the M3 lost control and rolled down the mountain. That M3 was on its back and caught on fire. The driver and front passengers survived with heavy burns...but the rear passenger could not get out due to coupe design...he died.
Even though i was not involved in the meet, from that day on, i vowed to myself to never buy a coupe. With a family nowadays, this is definitely out of the question.
So, sorry to bring up a sad topic, but i just want to tell you my perspective on coupes these days....

The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Saturday as Huie drove westbound in excess of 80 mph nearing the Foothill (241) Toll Road, the CHP said. The car left the road, hit a utility pole, overturned and caught fire.
Huie and a second passenger escaped the vehicle; Wimani was trapped inside. Huie suffered major injuries, and passenger Jordan Foster, 19, had moderate injuries.

A 2wd T4R could power brake better than that Lexus. Heck, I've seen my roommate's Ford Exploder powerbrake better than that thing. As for the paddles and the other gizmos, they have limited capabilities in "street use" and on a racetrack, where they would be most useful, other, better cars would smoke it's azzzzzz

Koz, unfortunately, the is350c is a far cry from your car....
All-wheel drive (If equipped) and the extra weight of a convertible kill it.

There are so many TSB's for that car it crazy. The convertable roof rattles and rattles and rattles the only way to fix it is to take most of the roof apart and put felt strips here and there and then it still rattles.

I owned a 2007 IS-350 for a little over 4 years, (hence the username.) It did have a few rattles I wasn't thrilled about. Most involved large temperature change if the car was outside in the cold overnight and then you crank the heat on in the morning. Luckily that was on very rare occasion when it wasn't garaged.
The running gear on the car is great and it was pretty quick for how heavy a car it is. The F-Sport swaybars really improved the handling.. The Mark Levinson stereo in the IS is amazing, plus the memory system. A great overall car.

There is a TSIB for the dash rattle which I had done and it eliminated it completely.
