2011 limited wither nav system radio

Any other 5th gen 4runners out there with the nav system radio getting static on the am and fm stations and almost no base to the system. Is changing the speakers or antenna a way to go? :hatsoff:

Both FM and AM are terrible on mine. Even before I changed the antenna it was no good. I stick with the satellite radio.

I installed a "shorty-tenna" on mine and still no problem with AM/FM in my area :shrug: , but I'm mainly Satellite, and CD's. :cheers:

thanks so far, I am also listening to the satellite most of the time as well. My 2011 limited is silver with black interior, husky mud guards 3rd row seating nav husky floor mats and cargo mat over the 3rd row seat will be adding bug deflector, vent shades and running boards plus paint protection as soon as I can afford all of it!!

Don't know what you mean by "paint protection" but if it's something the dealer is selling I wouldn't waste your money, it's nothing more than a synthetic wax. You can get the same thing with klasse AIO.

probably talking about the 3M clear material that protects the paint.

Sorry! I am talking about the 3m paint protection kits for the front of my silver limited. too may bugs getting stuck on the front of it traveling to Vermont and Maine!:cheers:

:thumb3: Sounds like a nice 4Runner you have there. My 2000 4Runner was Silver/Black, so I went with a darker exterior this time, but still love the Solid Black (LB22) interiors. You can't go wrong with the 3M protection film. Mine came with the standard dealership installed 3M, but I brought it to have the whole front-end done with the 3M, and yep, still put the BugFlector II on it, plenty, nasty love-bugs in my area. To me, my limited is nice and I love the silver after my 08 being a dark gray. From what I read yours sounds nice as well!!:iagree:
