My new 4Runner is about 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch lower on the driver side (front and back measured at the wheel well). I took it back to the dealer and they told me that was within the 3/4" spec that Toyota calls for. Thats pretty hard to believe. Anyone know who to talk with about this? They said it was caused by air in my KDSS. Duh, I made them look up my invoice and it showed my SR5 doesn't have it. Also, they said they measured at the frame and it was only 1/4" off and the remainder was in the body mounts. The body mounting bolts appear to have about the same amount of thread showing.

Since you have the KDSS system, download the Repair Manual from Nashman, look up the KDSS parts of the manual, somewhere in there it explains how to level out the left to right side.
Just a quick explanation...
You open up the valves, then use a floor jack, lift up the 4Runner's driver side at the frame rail about 1-2", let the truck sit for a little while to make sure the KDSS fluid gets adjusted then close the valves and lower the jack. This should help level out the 4Runner left to right. Drive it around a while and then check your measurements and see if anything changed. It's a free mod that might work.
Just make sure you read the manual, you open up the valves too much, Your Screwed!!

The stealer told him it could be KDSS but since he's got an SR5 he has no KDSS. However, I'm sure those that do will love your post

Never measured but knowing the battery, fuel tank, jack, and tire tool kit are all on the left side I specifically load all my heavy gear on the right side. Including spare tools under the hood on the right side where the empty battery space is.
