2011 SR5 Horns

Hello All - I just traded in my 2007 FJ for the 2011 SR5 in silver. I loved my FJ and it was painful to let her go, but I'm loving the 5th gen. Lots of good information here just like fjcruiserforums, thanks.

I took off the extra horn I had from the FJ so I can add I to the 4runner. I remember reading somewhere here stating the SR5 only came with one horn. Well, looks like the 2011 SR5 Toyota added a second horn. I couldn't find anything here posted about the stock 2nd horn for the 2011's.

thanks for the update. how do they sound? still sound like a little car?

as you probably know, many have changed to FIAMM horns. i personally went with PIAA and love it.

It definitely sounds better than the single horn from my FJ. I think I will still change them out.

Yeah, change 'em ... if they put two of the same horn as the original, all it'll sound like is 2 crappy horns.

I put the Fiamms in mine, like 'em just fine. Besides, if you now have wiring for 2 horns, the change will be cake. Be sure you know how to get that radiator shroud off first.
