2011 SR5 Invoice Breakdown

I received an invoice from internet fleet mgr today. At the bottom price breakdown it's kind of cryptic, it says "Memo - Total Amounts included Above:" and then lists holdback and wholesale reserve.

I'm guessing this means these prices are buried in the invoice price somewhere? Or does that mean these fees will be add'l beyond the invoice price he quoted me?

My plan is to ask him to remove the $500 markup, TDA, holdback and wholesale reserve and you've got a deal, I'll come down and buy today. This would bring price down to about $29,500 - not sure he's gonna go for that - but maybe meet me somewhere in the middle. Feels like a good deal.

Any thoughts and/ or tips for me?

Most dealers are skittish about holdback, if you can get yours to drop this amount then you've done good. Typically holdback is one to three percent of the invoice.

Yeah just wanted to see what people's experiences were negotiating deals. This was his first offer so I know I can do better, question is how much better :)

i got a limited for 37500 and my neighbor got an sr5 for 27500.

what??? WTF!! i got ripped. LOL

I payed almost 2k under MSRP. I couldn't get them down to invoice, but I thought 2K off was a pretty good deal. I could have almost afforded a limited at those prices. lol

depending on options that $31818.96 isn't too bad. If its 4x4 and has leather, i'd say do it. IF not..then maybe ask for a little less

sorry just had to ask
how did you get a limited with out 4x4

not all limited come with 4x4. Its my wifes everyday driver and she doesnt need 4x4. I am currently working on getting rid of this 4r and getting another limited with the same options minus the gps and add 4x4. I hate the GPS. They said they could still get me the jbl touchscreen. I think im going to wait until the 2012 comes out to do this.

Options are 3rd row seat, upgraded stereo, power seats, moon roof. no leather or 4x4 (ya i know thats weak) - maybe I'll beat the salesman up on price and when ive got a price i like tell him "switch it to 4x4 and you've got yourself a deal" :) haha.

has anybody bought one of these and negotiated out the TDA, holdback and reserve?

I wonder if location has anything to do with price and negotiations?

I'm in Texas. Trucks are everywhere here. LOL

I just bought a 4WD 3rd row seat SR5; the standard option configuration was
DJ, EC, FE, PE, SR, TH, 3T, 5A (power seats, sport fabric, stereo/Bluetooth w/USB, backup camera, moonroof and the port options
exhaust tip, mudguards, cargo crossbars, cargo cover, and wheel locks).
The MSRP was $36,083, which matched Edmunds/Toyota configurator.
The internet person offered the vehicle to me for 33,000 even and a $349 fee for documentation, tank of gas, cleaning/prep., etc. Apparently, the "invoice" on this vehicle was $33,100.
I was ready to write a check with my own equity account @ 3.49%, but they offered me 2.6% so I snagged it.
The deal actually went well after months of crap at other dealerships. I had to set up a long disatnce deal since no dealers in the state had a 3rd row seat vehicle (literally, not a single one....).
