2011 SR5 lift

I'm jealous of the many pics members have posted of their new lifted T4R. I have a stock SR5 recently purchased that I would like to raise about 3 inches without breaking the piggy bank. I will not be doing any serious 4wheeling but more to get a higher ride and look to the truck. Can someone suggest a cheaper alternative then going with one of these high end suspension kits like the Icons. I am more concerned about whether the truck will still have a nice ride after mods since a lot of my driving will be on road. Oh yes I would likely be keeping the stock wheels and tires if possible, maybe upgrade the tires but cannot afford wheels. Suggestions and experiences welcomed. Thanks

Toytec sells spring kits that give you 1-3" of lift, with spacers, for about $300.

The springs are usually by Eibach, supposedly ride a bit firmer and so improve handling as well. Members have posted that the handling improvement is noticeable, although better tires than the OEM Dunflops probably help just as much.

Toytech is a good way to go. Great bang for your buck. another option is the OME kit 2.5 inches for $650.00

There is a guy that is selling a set of toytecs for $400. Would this be a good deal for what he has? They come with the coilovers and springs per below. Would there be concern if they've been rebuilt?

set of Toytec Coilovers. They are adjustable coilovers which have bilstein 5100's and eibach springs can give all the way up to a 3.5'' lift. Were rebuilt about a year ago.

if you are not going serious offroad keep in mind that lifted 3" 4R might not be able to fit in some parking garages such in some malls or airports. It crossed my mind when I had to drive to downtown and my not lifted 4R barely fit under sprinklers in parking garage. Antenna was hiting them, I watched through the sunroof - another inch and I would have smashed my roof rails.
Just a thought.
