I have a chance to purchase a brand new 2012 fj cruiser suspension front & rear, will they bolt directly on my 2006?

Not directly.

2007-2009 is a direct swap.

2010-2011 coils are a direct swap, but shocks require some minor modifications to work.

2012 ? Don't know of anyone who's tried this yet. Maybe ask on the FJ forum to see if anything changed between 2011 and 2012.

Not sure what type of deal you've found, but there's a set of Bilstein shocks with coils for sale in the classifieds here for $200. They're practically new and will be a direct swap.

I saw those and I agree, but their in SF bay, I'm in northern VA, u imagine the shipping in those puppies, if the fj is the same as last year, ill drive an hr and do the easy Modding to get them on.

2012 FJ springs/shocks

I just purchased some 2012 FJ Springs/bilstein shocks via craigslist and will be attempting to put them on my 05 4runner 4wd limited in the next couple of weeks. Any other information found out regarding the 2012 FJ gear?

Also curioous about this swap. Found a great deal as well but have no info on sets from 2012s yet.. Will b subcribing..
