Just took delivery of new Magnetic Gray Trail Edition with KDSS. I look forward to building it. I have previously owned an 80 Series Landcruiser for 11 years and a 100 Series Landcruiser for 10 years. I looked at the 200 Series, but as magnificent it is, but in this iteration, it is simply too heavy and too soft.
I traded in my 2007 F150 FX4 supercrew. I built it with a King Racing Shocks, Toyo 35" tires, Edge Evolution, HID off-road lights, etc. The truck, however, is simply too big and too unmanueverable in city driving.
Among the mods that are on my wish list are:
1/ A supercharger, which I gather may not be available from any manufacturer;
2/ A baja rack and canopy;
3/ ARB bumper; and
4/ Sliders.
I am not sure if a lift kit or larger tires are necessary. I'll find out because I'm taking it out to the desert this weekend.
