2013 4 runner SR5

The transmission on my 2013 4 runner often seems to forget what its supposed to be doing. In particular when I depress the throttle at start off and then let off for any reason it just goes blank. No response, no throttle increase when I push on the gas peddle noting for about 3-5 seconds. Anyone have a similar experience?

sounds like you could just be low on trans fluid, have you checked the level?
