For the last year or so, my wipers would stop working every now and then. I go outside the vehicle and give them a push, the wipers worked as normal. Of course while the truck was in warranty the dealership could not recreate the issue. The last week or so, wipers acted like they were under a strain when I would push them to make them work. Now wipers are not working at all. I checked fuses and they are not blown. Of course, the motors are under that pain in the A$5 to remove plastic trim covering below windshield. I am going to make an appointment to have them looked at and repaired.
My question, do both motors work in unison? So if one is bad, the other does not work as well? I really do not want to replace both motors if one is bad. The company I worked for many years ago built wiper motors and it was nothing to put 500k miles worth of heavy usage in testing before any wear become noticeable.
Any opionions or advice?
