2013 beeps when I turn off and clicks in dash?

Need help. When I shut off my 2013 SR5 sometimes I hear a beep twice and three clicks from inside the dash. No lights show up on the dash. The pattern of beeps and clicks is the same everytime. The only consistency to this issue is it seems to happen if I turn off the truck while it is still bouncing a little after being put in park. Almost like I turned it off too quick? This occurs whether the parking brake is used or not. Also, the incline I park on makes no difference. It just did it on my flat driveway when I came home today. Any idea what this is?

I think you're pressing the lock or unlock button on the fob whilst twisting the key.

Are the beeps very audible beeps, are quiet? I think there's a clicking/ratcheting noise of some sort when you turn off the key, that's the steering wheel lock locking I think...

Just tried to replicate by holding the buttons down as I turned it off. Nothing happened but it may be one of those things where the timing has to be just right. Those buttons are exactly where I put my thumb to twist the key.

This happens when my Runner starts to back up on my angled driveway, while I'm in D and while the truck is on. It prevents the Runner from rolling back too far while engaged in D. However, it never happens while it's off and parked.

Yes. I've had the hill assist kick in. This is different. Same general noises but only when I turn it off.

Is the beep right when you turn it off, or would it happen to be linked to you opening the door? There's a quick beep thing to tell you the moon roof is ajar, but that's only upon opening the door.

This beep is before I open the door. I've opened the door with the sunroof open. That's not it. Today I didn't have any windows open. This is quite a stumper.

Any chance this could be some kind of electrical problem already?

Yes. Everything stock at this point with 2500 miles on it. Bought new late December.

Your alarm is the only thing that makes yours different. Could be something from that.

Actually just checked and my vehicle came with the factory alarm. Not dealer installed. Sorry for my confusion.
