I have an email into Mark to see if people can pickup their orders at the shop and his thoughts on installation assistance. I assume pickups would be ok, but not sure about installation. I'll update the thread when I get a response.

Mark said that customers are welcome to pick up their orders at their shop in Houston. However, they typically out source installations to a nearby company. They DO charge by the hour for installations and he can get quotes for us if anyone is interested.

On the fence but seriously considering the 4th gen bumper so just to confirm the deal is 15% off and does this include free shipping?

The group buy gets you 15% off whatever you order, but you DO have to pay shipping on the parts or pick them up at their shop in Houston.

I also have a front bumper on order, I ordered mine back in October so I really don't want to cancel and wait another 4 months but if you could contact SW for me I would appreciate it.

I know that some people have expressed concerns about shipping times in the past. But, seeing as these are made to order, it makes sense (to me). That said, thus far Mark has been great to deal with. I have sent countless emails and he always gets back to me within a couple hours. So, the communication and customer service has been top notch!

He said, group buys allow them to order the raw materials in greater quantity, which make them eligible for discounts and allows them to pass the savings on to the end user.
Sorry, but like you said, you still have a great bumper on the way.

No problem, I have an email in to Mark now about the install shop, how far they are from Shrockworks, their hourly rate and how long it typically takes them to install each item.

My understanding is this:

1. Every Group Buy participant needs to add their name and what they are buying to the list.

2. Once list is complete (minimum 10 buyers) Shrockworks will develop and issue the participants a special 'coupon code'.

3. We then place our orders individually through their website/by phone using the code.

I'm just summarizing what Jeff (Dusty) already laid out in his detailed overview of the group buy in the thread's first post.....

If you have a 1"+ bodylift, you will need the bodylift bumper mounts to properly space the bumper. If your current 3" lift is suspension ONLY, the standard mounts should fit.
