2014-2015 Dealer Programmable Settings

Hey Guys,

I've searched through the forum and cant seem to find what I'm looking for. I have found a list of the dealer programmable settings for a 2010 4runner here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/66460-programming-options.html but I think the settings have changed since the most recent gen was updated.

I've got a 2015 Limited. The option I want to change is to make touching the drivers door unlock all doors, just like when I touch the right side front passenger door. Is this possible? Also, can anyone provide me with a 2015 list of dealer programmable options?

Thanks!!

You don't need techstream. Stand outside the truck and hold down the lock and unlock together and wait for the beeps. This will alternate between single door and all door unlock modes.

I'm in Austin and have the Techstream all setup.

Sent you a PM.
I have the exact same car as DATX, also live in Austin, and would like to do the same thing for my door locks. Can you do the same for me or at least let me know where I can get one of these Techstream devices?

Would this work on our 4runners?:
Mini VCI 16 Pin OBD2 Diagnostic Cable for Toyota Tis Techstream Cable CD US SHIP | eBay

I'm new to the 4runner scene. Maybe a mini CenTex 4runner meet is in order

Thanks.

Good tip, OP, let me know if this works!

I'm happy to help if the aforementioned tip doesn't work. I will look at the options in the Techstream tonight or tomorrow.

Just tried it on my 15 limited. Totally worked! Thanks! I'm excited because that's something that was really bugging me and I thought I'd have to go to the dealer.

Wow

I've hated that about mine since day 1! Thanks mattr ! That trick you posted worked on my 2014 LE!

YOU'RE THE MAN!!! Just tried this. Took me 15 seconds. Hold down lock and unlock until you hear two sets of triple beeps. Now all doors unlock with the touch of the drivers door handle.

Now, having learned this simple fix, I am a little concerned about the quality of service techs at Charles Maund Toyota. They told me up and down that this was not possible. To be honest, I've been pretty disappointed with them in general. I don't think I'll be buying another vehicle from them.

Anyways, Thanks for this simple tip!

your local carjacker/stick up man thanks you for allowing all doors to unlock:whistle:

In all fairness, the passenger side front door already unlocks all doors from the factory. I don't see how adding this feature to the drivers side door makes me more susceptible to "car jackings" but I've never been in that position so I wouldn't know. Just happy that this could be changed but thanks for your concern. :bravo:

Your alone, You open drverside door to get in, Bad guy jumps in passenger side and high jacks you.

The tip worked for me too. Thanks mattr for the tip and Landy for the offer.

Now the question is what other customizations can be done without the Techstream?
