2014 Limited - JBL + Nav - Entune and iPod issue

Week old 2014 Limited running the lastest software on the stereo/Nav unit.

In my old VW Golf R I could have my ipod plugged in via the USB/iPod interface and have my iPhone 5 connected via bluetooth and switch back and forth.

When I attempt to plug my iPod into the USB on the dash in my Limited while my iPhone is connected via Bluetooth....it instantly disconnects the Entune app on my phone and the bluetooth streaming and / or Pandora quit and I get the error in the photo. It looks like it thinks my iPod and iPhone are one and the same...which they obviously are not.

I this just a design flaw or is there something I can do to correct it?

It's not the end of the world because the bluetooth connection generally works well...but I have this iPod sitting here that I apparently can't use.

Any ideas?

Yes, I'm having similar issues with 2014 LTD and bluetooth connectivity. Wish they would furnish an update. Not sure what I have, but supposed to be the latest.

How do you find out the software release you have? Anyone know.

Any help would be appreciated.

Confirmed on another Limited. With an iPod plugged into the USB port, the entune app will not connect.
