iOS14/Entune Freezing and Glitching?

Curious if anyone else has upgraded to iOS (14 or 14.1) and experienced issues with connection and freezing between your phone and Entune? I assume those with 2020+ might not have the issue due to CarPlay.

I connect the phone to the car via USB and ever since upgrading to iOS14, music freezes and stops playing on the car, then after a 30-40 second pause, starts playing on my phone speaker and not the car. The "source" screen also sometimes loads blank. This can only be fixed by hard restarting the phone, or sometimes unplugging the USB from the car and then plugging it back in. I've had to stop and turn off, then turn on the car a few times as well.

Something between Entune and iOS14 is not very friendly and needs to be sorted out...

Haven't had any issues with iOS14 and my '14 4Runner... but I've only been connecting via BT, not via USB.

Switching to Bluetooth vs. the USB input does seem to help, so that's what I've been doing too. Just annoying, but I guess it still accomplishes the same thing.

No issues. Also connect via bt. Have not ever connected with usb.

No issues here, but I've also made it a habit of after any major updates, I just delete the phone/headunit from each other, and re-pair it fresh each time.

and friendly re-pairing reminder: click "show notifications" under the "i" after pairing. I tend to forget that step, and then it's like "why am I getting no messages notification".

Well, that and "you're using data" and re-setup the messages setting on the head unit. uke:
