2014 shrockworks front bumper install question

For those that installed their own bumpers. On the 2014-2015 did you have to trim the sheet metal brackets referenced below.

"Clearance the sheet-metal brackets that previously supported the sheet-metal cross-member just removed by cutting a small triange shape out of each to ensure the bumper wont rub. See pictures on page three referenced in step 2a."

On the 2014+ they're shapped differently than the 2010-2013 shown in the pic. On 2014+ they brackets seem smaller than what's pictured. Also where did you mount the warn solenoid?

I didn't cut any sheet metal when I installed mine.

I installed my winch controller where the directions showed.

I didn't have to cut them, the trim pieces fit around them with no issues.

I don't know if this is going to make any sense, the side closest to the grill is pretty obvious, but the outer side is goofy. You should have two odd "L" shaped brackets. These brackets attach to the trim piece and get sandwiched into an existing bolt. If you have the instructions there is a picture of this bolt, but I don't think it's on the same page as the written instructions.
