2014 SR5 Premium with 3rd row pricing

Hi guys,

I'm new to the board and hopeful to have a T4R by the end of this month. Just spoke with a dealer in Chicago and he quoted me 2014 SR5 4X4 Premium with third row for $34,478 plus TTL and $166 doc fee. Ordinarily I would think this is a good deal given the invoice on this vehicle is $35,571.

But being that this is year end, am I getting a good deal? The car is not on the dealers lot yet, he said I would have to put in a deposit before he will order it.

Thanks for your responses!

There is usually more wiggle room, plus theres a $750 rebate on the vehicle right now. So I would say you're not getting a great deal. My dealer just gave me over $3000 more for my trade in than its worth instead of discounting the vehicle. Saves me on taxes too. Also this is on a 2015 limited.

I was lookg at the same vehicle, but my dealer couldn't get it in Mag Grey so I'm waiting until 2015s come out. I was quoted $36,000 for the 2014, so your price seems good to me. My dealer said that 3rd row 4Rs are hard to find, so they usually don't discount them as much as a standard SR5.

Sounds about right. I paid $31ish for my SR5 with a third row (not premium). Couldn't find a premium with a 3rd row, and I honestly wish I would've chosen premium over the 3rd row...or searched around for a while.

Thanks for the responses guys! I put a $300 deposit on the vehicle last night. I told them I want to take delivery at the end of the month. Since it will be the last day of the month, I'm assuming they won't try to mess around with the deal as I just won't buy the vehicle and they will have to pay the fee for the vehicle to sit on their lot. I'll let you guys know what happens.
