2014 tacoma trd skid plate on 96 3rd gen? Has anyone tried this?

Basically I have the opportunity to pick this skid plate up pretty cheap. Just wondering if anyone has any input on the subject.

If u have a grinder and welding skills im sure u could fab some custom mounts to secure it.

It's going to be way to wide and at least just as useless as it was the Tacoma it came from. Why bother?

It bolts right up. You just have to move the flux capacitor around a little. Go ahead and do it!
