2015 4Runner SR5 -- Reverse Camera ??

Seeking advice or experience ...

I had a fender bender on the right front corner ... Repaired under by insurance and returned to me ... However - when put in reverse gear, there is no picture in the Head-Unit screen in center of the dash.

The AutoNation Collision shop has my car for 2 months for collision ... the last 3 weeks trying to make the Reverse camera turn-on ... I'm still waiting.

NOTE: They did replace the Wiring Harness as part of the collision repair yet everything checks out except the reverse camera!

My 4Runner is 2015 low mileage [55K], perfect condition truck ... that I haven't driven in 2 months.

I've been waiting so long, just thought I'd ask if anyone has heard of this situation before?

I installed an OEM radio out of a 2018 Toyota 86 in my 2001 4Runner with a back up camera designed for that radio from Camera-Source. I did notice that when it lost power, like changing the battery, the camera would no longer display. I found out that I pulled the radio (accessory) fuse and reinstalled it, the camera started working again. I am not sure that is what is going on with yours, but might be worth a try.

Back-Up Camera fixed

Turns-Out ... a bent pin in one of the connection was the cause ... I just got my 4Runner back
