Hey, I just saw this. I'm in Huntsville, AL and I'm interested in going to this. It's a bit of a drive, but not too bad really. It seems like a cool event.

Have you ever been to WindRock before? I've seen a few people mention it here and there, but never really read into it much.

[MENTION=64685]TOY2G[/MENTION] and I will be there, itll be about a 6hr drive for us. I also have a few Taco buddies from ttora going. Ive never been but heard from numerous people that Windrock is BADA$$. Ive emailed back and forth with the organizers as well and it sounds like the festivities alone are going to be well worth the trip.

Stop thinking and sign up!!! All that money spent needs to hold up its end of the bargain, plus rolling with a 4Runner group will make it that much sweeter.

I'd really like to go. I didn't realize you were in Indianapolis haha. You're farther than me.

Do you think this is something I'd be able to run in my truck? I just put on new BFG M/T's 255/75/17s, so about half an inch bigger than a 265/70/17 or 265/75/16, but I'm not lifted. I've got an 01 4WD, and I should have my sliders on sometime in July though so that helps too. I just want to make sure I'll be able to run the trails there without damaging my truck...

Dont fret. Numerous trails for all rig sizes (including stock). My buddies are bringing full exocaged crawlers.

If you want to run something harder just jump with someone in a bigger rig!!!

Cool. Any idea if we can "camp" in out 4Runners there overnight? I would think we could.

As of now I don't have anything that weekend, and if it stays that way I'll probably end up going!
 
I am thinking my son and I may attend. Running a stock 5th gen with BFG AT's. Thinking I will be alright, though I would love to use the event as an excuse to install some Bilsteins and Demello sliders! :bravo:

Windrock has a campground and there is mention that camping may be available in the Event Area. It's reasonably priced with a decent bath house.

There are trails that range from the Gravel Roads (G series) which aren't normal pansy county roads to the extreme for buggies and the like. It is worth the drive and if for some reason you don't feel comfortable taking your truck on the trails, others are normally open to taking passengers along for the ride. "Pinstripes are your friends"
 
Ill be in Cabin 10 at Windrock Park right next to the event area. Cant wait to meet some of you guys and put faces to names.

Go man, I wheeled my truck stock the 1st 5 years I owned it. Just stay on the easy trails.
