2015 Highlander Remote Issues

Hard to find an active Highlander forum since I don't think they are modded much. So looking for some help.

My wifes 2015 Highlander has been recently having remote problem. It will work sometimes. This is not the smart key with push button start. Tried the basic stuff.

1. Used 2nd remote
2. Changed batteries in both remotes
3. Stood closer/farther to the car

I've read that it could be the remote receiver module but no luck in finding out where the hell this thing is located so I can look at it.

Well did some more playing since I had time.

1. Lock works
2. Holding the rear hatch button unlocks the doors and opens the hatch. Closing also works.
3. Panic does work

Just the unlock doesn't work.

Can techstream disable just the unlock feature? No one has ever hooked up to the car but if it can be changed I'll go get one.
