2015 Instrument Cluster Glass Fog

Have you tried a plastic polish/micro fiber cloth? I read you've tried everything, but had to ask. Yikes. It looks as if something splashed on it and etched the plastic.
How do you get the plastic out?

My Bad Marshal, been awhile since I owned a truck. Glad to be in this new T4R.
I am gonna try some plastic cleaner tonight or tomorrow and am contacting a local dealer to see if it's a warrantied part/cost of repair if I can get it clean. Seems to be on the inside of glass. I bought this thing at Carmax. Everything else is in great shape but they don't really repair, nor do I trust Carmax to take apart the cluster and make it right.

I would be concerned about what someone was doing inside the cluster to cause this? I have never seen anyone complain about something like this before, so I doubt it is a Toyota issue.

That doesn't look good- especially if it's on the inside...
I know on the "early 5th's" you could order that clear plastic cover separately from the dealer (or any Toyota parts place) for relatively cheap (less that $30 in the parts manual). I'm sure you can order it for yours too.
It's really easy to take apart if you are even the slightest bit handy. Here's my cluster apart...

Yeah, dealer wanted $254, but the part is only $40 he said. Biggest thing is getting the cluster out. Do you have to pop off some plastic and such? Appreciate the info and help! Probably some fool who armor-all'd the thing.

If I lived closer I would take the damn thing off for free!
I've never taken apart the new dash, but I would bet my paycheck it's the same. Plastic panels that pull off with no tools. 2 screws that hold the cluster in and pop off the electrical plug.
The clear plastic is just clips to get off.
Takes probably 10 -15 minutes if you take your time.
I will look it over more tonight. I would guess you are right and once the plastic panel is off it's pretty easy. If I can't figure it out I will post some better pics of the cluster to get ideas.

[MENTION=128745]Tamorris[/MENTION] , below are some photos to help you out. Although I will side with the poster who said if you bought it this way I would encourage the dealer to fix it themselves. (free of charge, or at least provide the parts)
Some Key Learnings:
*Make sure the Trip reset pole is back through the hole in the plastic lens, if not you will bend it right over when snapping the lens back onto the cluster (ask me how I know)
*The "dust cover" that goes from the top of the steering wheel column to the bottom of the cluster trim can be snapped off the cluster trim
*It takes longer to reinstall then to remove
Steps:
*Remove Trim panels from the lower left and right of the cluster, under each is a screw that must come out.
*Remove the cluster "trim" , will remain in the truck until next step
*Disconnect the dust cover from the cluster trim, it will remain attached to the upper steering column cover
* Remove two screws at top corners of instrument cluster
*Rotate cluster down to get better access to the wiring connector, remove connector
*Cluster is now free and you can remove the lens by unclipping the 10 clips that hold it to the cluster. I recommend starting with one, then working your way around.

I did not use anything on it. Truck is one week old to me. I think someone did get something like armor all on it though. I used Plastix and it is way better. Still noticeable when you shine a light but way better. I will post a pic tomorrow. See what it looks like in the daylight.
Called Local Dealer and they said it is not a warrantied part. $40 for a new piece or $254 for them to do it. Plastix made a huge improvement but not 100% yet.
