I got one with mine in San Antonio. Still in the box. But I imagine it's a dealer thing since it a standard receiver hitch.

Mine didn't come with one, but it was okay because the dealer charged too much for it anyway.
And I already had 2" drop and a 4" drop ball mounts for boats and bought a 6" drop ball mount to pull the 5'x8' trash trailer. Come to think of it, I have a cheap Harbor Freight 0" with 2" ball and 1 7/8" ball on it too.

Only comes with the ball mount if it's listed on the window sticker as a factory option.
The standard mount can be purchased much cheaper on eBay (Toyota p/n PT228-89445). But depending upon your vehicle height and your trailer tongue height, in many cases you might want a different drop, necessitating a different mount. Most any 2" receiver ball mount will fit...

Hi guys,
Just picked up a 2017 SR5 (Canadian model). Was planning on buying a hitch ball and mount but was pleasantly surprised to see mine came with one already, still in the box placed in the back of the vehicle. I suspect all Canadian models will be the same, US models may be different.
