2016 SR5 stock headunit replacement

I accidentally cracked the screen of my stock headunit while doing the Ram phone mount install:jaw:. I am upset but have to see this as an opportunity to upgrade as I have an amp and component set I was planning to install. I would appreciate any suggestions and experiences for replacement units. I would like to stay under $500 if possible. I would like navigation and retain steering wheel controls. I have an Android phone so integration would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Start at Crutchfield and "Find What Fits Your Car" on the homepage. I've had good luck with the Alpine, but that's a little outside of your range. You'll also be able to see the additional items you need to keep your steering controls....

Thank you, that site is helpful. I wouldn't mind a refub or open box unit to stay within my price point. The latest model isn't necessary, I do need navigation.
