Dear Santa,
I am excited to be a part of T4R.org’s Secret Santa!

I am probably one of the “old guys” round here at 56. I have been married for 31 years with two grown kids (Son drives a 3rd gen, daughter has a Forester).

Obviously, I have been a good boy since I moved into a 2017 T4R ORP this year, from a VW Toureg TDI that I sold back to VWoA.

I love the outdoors, hiking, wheeling and camping. I am still building up my offroad recovery gear so some odds and ends like a pulley block, ARB/Smittybilt deflator, folding shovel and fire extinguisher would come in handy.

I am a major sucker for stickers and flashlights. Old school Toyota 4WD Emblems and TEQ/T4R Grille badges are cool too.

4Runner and offroad related things on an XL T-Shirt would be nice.

Since I got my SSO sliders, Slimline and winch on, the front end is suffering, so if you wish to go nuts, a set of 5100s wrapped in Wheeler Springs would be awesome.

In the end I am good with whatever you wish to leave under three.

Dear Santa

Firstly, thank you for the admins/mods that put this together. This is my first year participating in SS and its awesome.

A little bit about me, I am a 23yo M here in Colorado Springs. I studied mechanical engineering and computer science at UCCS for 3yrs and decided to break free from the norm. After dropping out, I took a few months to continue my studies self-taught and worked side jobs; from mowing peoples yards to scanning ancient documents for countless hours. Through the ups and downs, I'm happy to say that this year I was blessed with opportunities that justified my change of direction. I now own a website development and graphic art business that I do on the side of my main job; Jr program developer for a college here in town. This mix of nerdy tech inclination and a drop of mechanical system knowhow (mostly a need for speed lane keeps me wanting more and more for my TOYota. I absolutely love my 02 SR5 but still have a special place in my heart for my old 03 Sequoia. I'v had my 4runner for about half a year now with no problems; I am less than 50 miles shy for the 200k club so its time for a celebration!

This winter I have plans to visit the mountain slopes every other weekend to snowboard. I am a die hard fan for Copper Mnt as I like to hit everything from trees (not literally... they hurt) to park runs. Unfortunately I sold my Sequoia with my racks included, derp. So maybe a ski or even better yet a cargo rack would be a nice surprise for her.

In other (fake) news, I also have a blasé passion for Star Wars.. hence the 'stormtrooper' build I am going for. My SR5 is white and matte black to look like the characters helmet & will hopefully become more so after I replace my projectors with SRQs or demon eyes of some sort. So maybe if Santa is feeling extra happy from my /colorado cookies/ he might slip one of these under the tree this year (;

Lastly, I am never one to be picky or ungrateful, I am a more simple person layball: and think any thought is a thought none the less. So if Santa has some fun stickers to throw on my 4rnr's rear or knows that I wear a Medium/Large in shirts and sweatshirts I'd appreciate that too.

I’m greatful to be apart of an awesome brother/sisterhood of 4runner owners outside of the simple list provided I do enjoy shooting sports, riding 4wheeles, finding ways to entertain my 19th month old son and working in the shop on varios automotive projects. Currently building a set of Dana 60s (92 model ford ball joint style) for the 4runner an all the linkage, fj tcase speed sensor, and steering that goes with it. I hope you enjoy looking through the threads to get to know me a bit better an no matter the budget I’m greatful to have the opportunity to connect with you when all the dust settles

I've been exceptionally good this year. I haven't (openly) made fun of anyone running 20"+ wheels or for those who've asked about tire size.

My 4R is getting old. It needs new fluids, diff breather and a snorkel.

When not drinking coffee (dark roasts), I can be found taking pictures (Canon EF mount), exploring or relaxing. However, I sometimes get chilly when sending it down cold mountain roads.

Hello Santa,

This year I have been good. I can say that because with the birth of my 2nd child (and first son) this spring I haven't had the damn time to get in to trouble. Small humans take up most of my energy after dealing with mechanics all day in the shop.

I live here in the sub-arctic of Canada and know that shipping can be a pain in the butt.

I like vintage Toyota stuff, "buy it for life" tools and things for the home. I'm 32, married with two kids and am fortunate enough to have a garage. These days I enjoy travelling on my Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and camping along the way if I'm not at the lake with the family. Good single malts (Macallan 12 or so) and brews from the PNW (I *do* like a big IPA and I'm not ashamed of it!) are wonderful. I also enjoy my firearms (not with alcohol of course!) and my current favourites from my safe are my Ruger Precision Rifle (.308), SKS (x2) and my Benelli SuperNova.

I need more lighting like I need another hole in the head. If I had to pick something big and heavy and expensive for the 4Runner for christmas this year I'd ask for a set of Shrockworks bumpers and sliders. They'd go nicely with my 285's that are sitting in the loft and the Toytec suspension that I guess I should buy during the Black Friday sale.

Anyway, I think I've summed up enough for you to get something loaded in to that sled of yours. Beside - North Pole is only 700 miles from here in the Yukon!

I have been a very good boy this year and made sure to use the search function every time before posting.

A little about myself. I am an 18-year-old freshman Mechanical Engineering Technology student going to Montana State Bozeman. I love being outdoors and exploring new places, the mountains are my happy place. When I'm not out wheeling my 98 4runner Apollo I am taking pictures of anything nature (canon rebel t3i ef mount) or working on the 4runner. I am always tinkering with something and building new stuff

I have never been one to be ungrateful or picky about gifts and believe Christmas isn't about the gifts and its more spending time with loved ones. But we have those things we really want and hope santa brinngs

About me: I'm 20, about to graduate and start working as an engineer in industrial controls. I got my T4R about a year and a half ago and have enjoyed being a part of the community on the forum. I have a wide range of interests which include:
Camping/Traveling by road (kind of a given...)
Modding my T4R, I keep my mod list in my signature. I have been moving towards a capable camping vehicle without crazy offroad capability because of the 2WD. Had my first successful camping road trip this summer at multiple National Parks and observed the eclipse in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Photography (mainly landscape/cityscape). This has become a big passion of mine, I love taking photos of various things and generally try to make the regular parts of life on earth stand out. - I share on Instagram under this username
Vintage Marklin electric trains -- I have collected these trains for nearly 10 years, another big passion of mine that I never really grew out of. The trains are completely analog with no digital control. I have a wide range of models that were manufactured anywhere between 1958 and the early 1990s. It's always been fun to find the odd deal on eBay to add to my collection.
I've also been an on and off coin collector. I'm a big fan of collecting from circulation, so I generally avoid purchasing specific coins. I've found some pretty neat coins and bills from searching regular rolls and asking for 2s and half dollars from the bank tellers, including a few mercury dimes, some silver quarters,
$10 bill from 1963, $2 bill from the 50s, $1 bill from 1974, various wheat cents from the 1910s. Searching rolls is always a great way to pass extra time, and there isn't really any monetary loss attributed to it because everything you find was found at face value!

Aside from my personal interests, I spend time volunteering for the FIRST robotics program, which is an outstanding STEM education program for students of any age. I was on a high school first team, which inspired me to pursue engineering as a career. I've since then spent time mentoring teams, volunteering at high school events, and judging for middle school competitions, and will continue to do so for a long time. If you haven't heard of it I would definitely check it out. There are probably multiple teams in your area if you are in the United States or Canada.

Some wish list items:
Small: anything to add to my camping gear aside from a sleeping bag and grill, raptor grill lights, 58mm filters except ND/UV, eBay gift card for the train addiction..., T4R or BMW-M apparel (large t-shirt size)
Large: Canon EF 50mm f1.8 lens, dashcam setup
Dream: 2-person RTT, ARB fridge, compressor setup

Of course, anything is greatly appreciated. I can't wait to do my part and pick someone else's gift out.

I'm a 22 year-old, single guy that works inside with lots of technology but still loves the outdoors. I really want to get more into overlanding, so anything related to being self-sufficient while alone in the mountains would be sweet. Knives/multitools, lighting nick-nacks (both for mounting on the truck or for general illumination while camping), gloves, that warm pair of socks you recommend to everyone or anything Expedition Portal features would be awesome

I also really enjoy beer (typically darker ones, though I'm not huge on coffee stouts), technology (I work in IT and am a lover of anything electronic that doesn't have an Apple on it), reading (I'm a huge Tolkein/fantasy fan, but enjoy sci-fi as well) and motorcycles (I've got a Honda CBR600RR that I have entirely too much fun on). As a note, I wear a small shirt.

I suppose I'm on the nice list at the moment, but I'll go on the naughty list for you if you get me a Relentless Offroad Defender or Predator bumper with the led signals. An RCI skid for the front would also do the trick....

SS, in February 2018, I'm taking my family on our first trip to Yellowstone National Park. We're skiing in Big Sky and snowmobiling through Yellowstone - gonna be an awesome trip and we're looking forward to seeing the snow/wildlife/etc.

I'm a 40-year old guy, into guns, knives, and outdoorsy things like camping, gardening, and sports (football and baseball). I appreciate a nice bourbon (been into rye as of late) and enjoy good food and grilling. I like regional items - foods, drinks, items, trinkets, etc.

Next mods for my V8 4Runner will most likely be led cubes for fogs (my 2003 truck didn't come with fogs), and maybe getting ready for a roof rack of some sort. I wear size XL shirts. My son and I are getting into blacksmithing (he's 14) and we're getting a forge, anvil, and tools this year for Christmas to explore metalworking a little this coming year.

I work in a cubicle 5 days a week and do a fair amount of traveling on the weekends to locations where we drive and/or fly.

I look forward to participating this year, which will be my first for SS on this site.

I'm sorry I broke some parts on Kylo this year. It was only a lug stud and bent exhaust pipe though so it wasn't too bad. Hopefully I can be better next year and keep it to some occasional desert pinstriping.

About me: I'm 33, single, no kids or dogs or cats or anything. I work in I.T. for a SaaS company that does software for the multi-family housing industry. This is my third T4R and I'm loving it.

I like camping, road trips, and being outside. Anything to add to my camping gear is appreciated.

I was a commercial bus driver for almost 5 years when I was in my 20's. I drove tour buses in Alaska for four of the summers so I love anything Alaska related.

This year I bought my first DSLR camera, a Canon EOS Rebel T6i. I'm still learning how to use it. Any accessories for it would be nice as I only have the kit lens, one battery, and one SD card.

I wear an XL shirt thanks to all the junk food I ate while being a commercial driver.

I own a share of Green Bay Packers stock. Someday I will go see an Atlanta Braves game in person.

I'm an avid PC gamer. Strategy games (Stellaris, Civ V, CKII), RPG's (Skyrim, KOTOR), rogue-likes (Binding of Isaac, FTL) and others (Rimworld, Kerbal Space Program, Factorio). I own a PS4 and Nintendo Switch but don't use them as much.

I like reading my Kindle and listening to Audible audiobooks. I own almost all of Louis L'Amour's published books. My favorite authors are John Scalzi, Brandon Sanderson, and Louis L'Amour.

I used to snow ski a lot but I don't have my own gear so it got too expensive.

I've always been a fan of the Ford Mustang even though I don't own one. I will own a 2018 S550 with the digital dash when they're available used in a couple of years.

I've got almost everything I want for my 4Runner. For a larger item I'd really like to replace the rear 1.5" daystar spacers I have with actual 1.5" rear lift springs. Or a 2-man RTT if you're feeling really generous. :biggrin1: Otherwise, anything you want to give me will be appreciated.

Small tangent and I apologize if I missed others, but just wanted to say as always thank you for your service sirs.

30 years old married recently adopted a son this year who will be 11 months come December.
I enjoy all things auto related, whether its Toyota, Subaru, or exotics in general. Like camping, hunting(deer/shotgun), fishing, and just about anything outdoors. Try to get out and do more single track riding on my Specialized hardrock sport, but the little guy has made scheduling that a little more challenging.
Anything Expedition Overland related is great.

Size XL in shirts/sweaters/etc.

Obviously I enjoy a nice IPA, but really a big fan of all kinds of beers from different states.

Would like maybe a portable shower for camping.

Try to keep the family cars clean or clean them myself after a nice weekend adventure, so could use more chemical guys shampoo for my foam cannon or really anything they sell on that sight would be great.

Like the idea of some rock lights for night runs or even some rearward facing lights would be great, or maybe even a dash cam for the wifes car since I have one and definitely would feel better if she had one in her car as well.

Dream list would be an Engel fridge or something similar so i can ditch the ice and cooler, or even if I could find another 5th rim (8 hole FJ rim or early 5th gen trail edition rim), this would make it easier for me to justify a rear tire carrier. Ditch light brackets and side shooter lights? Maybe an Amazon Echo or Show would be cool for the house as well.

The reality no matter what you send will be awesome, as the past 2 years I have definitely been surprised and loved every gift. Also when in doubt patches are always fun for above the little guy on the headliner.

Dear Santa,

I have been an owner of my 4Runner for almost a full year now and a good boy here on the forums, Reading and learning all I can do to and with my 4Runner . Infact, when you are napping after your big day of streaking around the globe, dropping off Presents to good little boys and Girls, My 4Runner will turn 2 years old on Dec 28th.

I spend time outside a lot; Overland camping, 4Running in the dirt, mud and rocks along with shooting are some of my favorite things to do.

I have good collection of Hand guns, like 9mm and .40 S&W along with a .45 that all get used often and will need cleaning come new years. Along with hand guns I also have a true red rider bb gun know as a .22 Henry repeater rifle. Target shooting is very enjoyable, and fun to let off some steam.

As you might tell, I am a good little boy who also likes Craft Beers, I don't like the wimpy waterdown nonsense some 100 year old company's claim as beer. But the good hardy stuff, you know the kind that puts hair on your crest. :roll:

I am sure you are getting a lot of others like me who love their 4Runner as much as I do love mine, but Can I tell you my DREAM gift this year?

Alright, you twisted my arm.. Uncle, uncle My Dream Gift would be an Spod Relay system, So I could run all my lights, I intend to start installing in the next few Months. But have been holding off until I have them something to wire them to.

Oh, what a year it has been!

Purchased my first car in January, which just so happened to be Dabo my 2008 4runner SR5 with a sunroof.

Watched my Tigers win a National Championship in Tampa.

Also received two full-time job offers for when I graduate from Clemson in May.

About me: Senior at Clemson, most likely will be engaged in the next 12 months, shirt size Large.

I like Working with Habitat for Humanity, Camping, Off-roading, Golfing, pretty much anything outside, relaxing with beer (not an IPA fan) or a nice whiskey or tequila and cheering on Clemson.

My wishlist for Dabo includes a Cobra 75 to allow for communication on the trail and the emergency weather band, an attic storage net, center counsel organizer, phone mount and spidertrax wheel spacers so I can keep my stock rims which I really like.

I am a bit weird when it comes to vinyl stickers for the windows and keep to exclusively white vinyl stickers. I also have started a patch collection.

Eventually, I would like to add Sliders, a Baja Utility MG Rack or Frontrunner rack, a small RTT, and a 2 inch lift.

I am also very interested in anything local to your region. I love traveling and trying new things.

I will be completely pleased with anything you choose to send and can't wait to see what I may be lucky enough to get.

Well Santa I’ll be grateful for anything I receive this year.
A vintage Toyota T-shirt or sweater would be awesome. Something vintage Toyota to hang in my garage wall would be sweet too.

I’ve been eyeing up some rock lights for the truck so I can stop making excuses about night runs, and living where I do it’s desert season so I try to go wheelin a couple times a month , with my 4yr old boy I might add that I’m pretty sure will be a better driver than his dad lol. Could also add another headlamp to the inventory one of the most useful tools there is imo.

I’ve owned my truck for 6 yrs now and just recently started building. As for the ultimate wish list item a 4.7 gear reduction set for my tcase or some 33x10.50r15 mud terrains would be so awesome.

I should mention that I build Navy vessels and container ships for the private sector. I go through boots A LOT, usually 2 pairs a year. I’ve been getting redwings for a while now but would like to try a different brand to see if they hold up better-size 12 steel toe

Anything for my boys would be awesome , 4yr and 1yr old. They love anything to do with trucks and constrution equipment

Also just got a new member of the family, a lab-border collie mix that is 8 weeks old. I’ve really been getting into training him so he isn’t like my other pup, a 5 yr old doxin. So a leash or anything of that nature would be sweet.

I like beer, maybe a bit too much due to my waist size lol. I appreciate a good IPA more than any other but have been known to get a good porter when it’s cold or just a decent pale ale when it’s hot out

Since I learned about this secret santa forum I've felt like a 10year old, which is refreshing!

Santa, I have been a hard working man this year...me and the wife finally have gotten out if our bad neighborhood! It took a lot if work and patience to endure some of the crap that goes along with bad areas. Ive transitioned jobs as well this year and took a job nobody wanted, just to help the company. (Probably a huge mistake). I digress.

I am for once finally content with my vehicles and have been in love with my 4runner since I got it! I finished my auxillary search and found my highschool/college car (1985 rx7) and couldn't be more jazzed to continue to upgrade each vehicle (as budget permits, unfortunately a small budget albiet)

If I were to be so lucky my biggest yearning is for a locker for the burrito (since my budget only fit an SR5) or a supercharger [emoji3] another bucket list item for the burrito is to meet and have Ivan Stewart sign my rig!

For more realistic ideas I'm into vinyl records. I love all types of music and have recently been searching for some old school Metallica records (pre Black album only) Metallica died to me after "Justice for all". I also love BlueGrass/blues and old old country. It's fun to try to find rare or unique albums...some have art or colored disk's. I love watches and knives as well. I love the idea and always wear a knife and a watch daily. I do collect some patches and stickers for fun. The burrito has patches on the roof of things we have done or met. I hunt when I can and love outdoor gear. For fun I love to garage sale or antique shop....I love old vintage items from days gone by, I'm an old soul and feel a connection to simpler times...I'm a sucker for neat ol junk!

This year I’ve been pretty good. I did the fire academy in January. That took up most of my time so i never got around to working on my 4runner. On my free time I’ve been trying to go on hikes with the gf so we’ve been up and down the coast but now that we’re getting into the cold weather we are looking into getting some winter camping in. I’m looking to get into a emt course this spring so I’ll be working on that.

My wish list is simple...

-If possible i want to be able to have some tools in my truck that i might need in case something breaks. All the tools i have at home are my dads so i really don’t want to carry them around in case he needs them

-I’m a laker and raiders fan, anything sports related would be appreciated

-I’m outdoorsy so new anything related to the outdoors would be good

-i like old Star Wars stuff too, boba fett and lord Vader are my favorite characters

-anything that would help me with a EMT course

-anything fire fighter related

I hope I have been good this year!

Lets see, I am 31, recently engaged and have a 2016 Trail Premium. I enjoy basically everything outdoors and have recently been using our offroad trailer with RTT setup more often to get outside. I love to fish, specifically saltwater kayak fish.
Shirt size large.
Interests: Fishing, camping, shooting all types of pistols and ARs, am a GIS Manager so naturally I have an interest in navigation and maps. Love all types of stickers and patches. I also like anything vintage Toyota.

Truck wishlist at the moment is an attic and basically anything to help with storage, and power management. Specifically with my new solar setup and fridge.

Really though, I would enjoy anything I recieve and can not wait to get it!
