2018 NFL Playoffs

the "rumor" I heard regarding butler, and it's doubtful that we'll ever get more than rumors, was that he had missed one or more team meetings recently, and that he made the plane, and therefore the whole team late to fly to Minnesota... Coach has no tolerance for that sort of B.S. I doubt Butler will play for the Pats next year. Ah Rumors

Haven't heard the rumors, Butler pissed off BB that for sure. At first I thought might keep him out to be fresh for 2nd half, not. Def not looking good for Butler with Pats, he goes elsewhere someone is going to ask what was the issue. Then it will hit his contract $$ not a good time to be Butler.

the game was highly entertaining. neither defense was very good, but eagles came up with a huge play in crunch time.

as far as colinsworth, you are ridiculous. he was fawning all over foles and pederson the entire night, too. so he wasn't one-sided. the bias is yours.

for all the hate, new england has not blamed anyone for the loss, except themselves. no crying about the officials (hello, jacksonville and pittsburgh), still had a chance to put it to OT. philly played better overall; they deserved to win. should also end the debate, brady was outstanding, but the defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. foles was also excellent, and deserved MVP.

Ok, I'm obviously the ridiculous one here. Look it up. Everyone could see Collinsworth brown nosing the Patriots and Brady all night. He wouldn't stop talking about them. There's multiple articles on it. Everyone saw it, including unbiased people who were neutral in the game.

He called Pederson's 4th down calls ridiculous and stupid, until they were successful.

After the Clement touchdown he declared "I give up", not professional at all when you need undisputed evidence to turn over a call, which there was not.

On the 4th down in the 4th quarter after the eagles converted he literally said they should have punted instead because now Brady will get the ball back with less time on the clock meaning the eagles won't get a chance to score because obviously the eagles can't score on this drive.

He would not stop talking about the Ertz touchdown like it was some massively blown call when it was clear as could be that he scored there.

While the eagles offense was on the field all he could talk about was Tom Brady coming back out onto the field. They took the live action from the game and put it on only half of the screen so they could show Brady sitting on the bench on the other half of the screen.

During the trophy presentation he was STILL talking about the Ertz touchdown. After the game he didn't want to talk about how the eagles won, but about how good the Patriots played and the one that got away.

The guy is an awful commentator.

Well, that didn't go as planned. It was a great game and the Eagles played very well, they deserved the win. I thought the Pats were still in it, good chance of going to over time all the way up until the strip/sack then it was over. Is Philly OK? on fire? wonder how many police horses got punched last night...

It was a great game. Exciting from the beginning to the end. The pats were in it the entire time. It was a 2 score game at most, and never for long when it was.

A very entertaining game indeed. Impressed by both teams. Pulled out all the stops. Petersen played to win all game. Also, it didn't seem like he held back with Foles at all. Which was also evident in the Minnesota game. Most would change to protect the backup. If they had done anything like that, the Patriots would have rolled over them given how the defenses were playing. Not sure if it was nerves, but so many blown coverages and tackles on both sides.

The 4th and goal play will get replayed for the life of the NFL. What will get lost is the 4th and 1 play and call with around 5min left in the game from their own 45. Blow that play and most likely the game with it.

I am curious if we will find out why they benched Malcolm Butler. Seemed like he didn't find out until this week, if not maybe even just before the game. His post-game interview definitely showed how surprised/pissed he was about it.

That fourth down pass to Nick Foles has to be the greatest Eagles play of all time. I can't believe how many yards they put up. I was expecting so much more defense out of both teams.

Until Belichick releases his tell-all book after he retires.

I cannot imagine a book written by BB haha

It had to be something he did that made BB mad. He's not the guy to piss off. He proved that tonight.

The Ertz drama was surprising to me. If he wasn't a runner by the time he was diving into the end zone, then I don't know what constitutes one.

And a month ago I would have agreed with you, but now I'm not so sure. I mean, I would have never guessed he would have done the Two Bill's doc.

The Ertz drama was surprising to me..

Made for TV drama! is what is was to me. Was a clean well played game to that point, no drama from refs, had to be created for entertainment purposes.

Two things I didn't like of game, Suc azz half time show which I flipped channels, and the two talking heads in booth mute covered that.
Best team got the W.
