2018 TRD Pro seats

I just noticed something in my 4Runner TRD Pro. The driver's side seat on the right side next to the console has a felt cover sewn on. Does anyone know what this is for?

Think you are talking about the fabric protection for the seat belt buckle from rubbing on the console
