2018 vs 2020 4runner

Hey guys,
I know the 5th gen 4runners (2014-2020) are identical mechanically, just the infotament systems, instrument cluster and safety systems were changed for 2020.

I bought my 2020 trd off road 3 weeks ago, and am looking for a Cold air system, and my research has let me to B&S 75-5115 cai.
But is there a reason they dont list the 2019 + 4runners on the range on B&S websites and retailers that sell them?

Did they change anything electronically for the engine management system ie go from a MAP to a MAF system on 2020?

I know some companies do modify their engines in minor way like VW on the MK5 jetta / rabbits. The 2.5 engine was modified from a maf to a map system.. so the cold air intake that was produced for 2006 -2008 CAI intakes couldnt be used on 2009-2010 models with plugging holes for the cold air intake, even though the engine was the same 2.5 5 cylinder engine.

Is this whats going on here, or has B&S just not tested their cold air intake on the 2019+s?

any help will be appreciated before i pull the trigger on the purchase.

Thank you!

Some companies won't list parts for the newest models if they haven't tested it themselves yet. But 9/10 times it's because they just haven't updated their website to list the newest year in that generation. That happens with me and suspension parts quite often.

There are differences in the electrical system in the 2020s vs. the 2019s and previous. The fuse box layout is different in the 2020. I figured this out when wiring in the DRLs for my Morimoto headlights.

When I did some digging, I learned it was due to the addition of TSS-P on the 2020s. Not sure if this would affect your use case, but perhaps it may
