Got it and love it. Use it all the time for grocery shopping and loading heaving things into the back. And yea, flat back for sleeping is great. It's also good for going to the snow cone stand with my daughter, pulling it out, and sitting on it eating snow cones with some tunes going. I also used it last weekend to sit on it and to put on snowboard boots. Almost every time I go to the grocery store the person bringing the groceries out goes "cool".
Just don't get the cover that comes with it if you can get one without it and not pay for it. Put a Canvasback cover on it instead.
There is some room to put a few things under it too. Like I keep my recovery rope under it. Also comes with another cargo tray in front of it that you can put things in too that isn't on one that doesn't have the tray.
Bought mine at Larry Miller Toyota in Peoria if you are near there. Check to see if they would give you a better deal than Costco.

I just cut up a few old sleeping pads to the thickness needed to level it off. Then I have extra pads with me. Place an inflatable one on top. Need to sleep at a slight angle though - I wish it was easy to remove the flip forward seat pad.
I'm not saying your sales rep is a liar but out of my own and other people's experiences this is just not true. Good luck with your purchase.

From my experience, the best way is to read the TRD Pro thread and make a list of dealers that have sold it at MSRP and start cold calling them. It might take a flight to another state to seal the deal but a flight is usually only a few hundred bucks whereas a mark up is generally few thousand dollars.
Or just forget the vanity color, get TRD Off road premium, get Trd Pro rim and 275/70LT C load tires, get 6112/5100 Bilsteins with 1.5"/1" lift springs, get nice aftermarket stereo and speakers that is better than JBL and horrible entune, get a better roof rack, and spend the money still saved on rock rails and better aluminum skids. And some blackout emblems for appearance. And enjoy better ride on an off road with KDSS.

Nothing against people who do that. The differential in price between a pro and offroad in 2017 was smaller and I had to have cement but in 2019 prices it completely makes sense if voodoo color is not your thing.
Probably much smarter but I have loved Voodoo for quite a while and no huge mod plans, so having what I want with Factory warranty is appealing.

How did you not go though a dealer?
I run the goose gear cargo plate only. The goose gear plate system will not be level with your seats in a fold flat position unless you are removing the rear seats and going with a full sleeping platform system. To be level with the rear seats in a fold flat position you need to raise the cargo area - which the factory rear sliding cargo deck would do.

Just curious though, knowing now what we all know about the '20 coming out this fall, why didn't you wait for the additional upgrades? Was it simply a color choice?

Thanks Jason. Well yes I am a sucker for the Voodoo, but the Pro really fit what I was after in a 4Runner. Made more sense to me than buying a SR5 4WD then doing Suspension, wheels, etc all voiding or without warranty. I only wanted some mild mods. As for why not a 2020? I don’t want more electronics on any of my vehicles. As you can probably tell by my signature I like simplicity in a 4WD. If Toyota offered the 4Runner with a solid front axle and without all the electronic traction aids and anti lock brakes I would be first in line for one of those! I do like having a rear locker though. Will post up some pics when it arrives.
