2019+ TRD skid plate on 2016 TEP?

all the searches return the TRD skid plate for 2019 and up. I have a 2016 TEP that I'd like to put the TRD skid plate on. will it fit or are there differences in the mounting holes?

Yes sir you are in luck!
The TRD skids have been working on our 5th Gen 4Runners for some years. Albeit under different part numbers and slightly did configurations.
I had on on my 2014 and now the updated on my 2021.
