Looks great! Where could I find these black decals? Also is the black valance on the rear bumper vinyl wrap, painted, or off a TRD Pro?

I got the black overlay badges on Amazon - there are 2 you need to purchase and they won’t say they fit the 2020- but they do. As long as they fit the 2019, you’re good. They were shipped from Toyota dealers from FL, via Amazon. I had a local off road specialty shop - the Truck Shop, throw the Black OEM Valances on. I kept the silver ones as backup. I may spay the silver ones with some sort of Rhino liner when these get beat up.

Work out a deal with the dealer...I didn’t want the Dunlop or Bridgestones on mine, so they are swapping them for Nittos when it arrives in a week or so. Cost will depend on what it arrives with from port, but won’t be much difference and at this point I don’t really care.

They will likely just quote you retail for the tires and maybe give you a couple hundred bucks credit - at least that is what they we’re quoting me. Dealer Quoted $1895 for Terra Grapplers with TRD Pro Wheels. Local Truck Shop quoted me $1625 for Ridge Grapplers (better tire) and TRd Pro wheels - sold the stock tires and wheels for $400 - likely too low as I had a ton of responses on Craigslist.

Can you get them to go 7% off MSRP?

Thanks man! I just realized these are caps that go over the existing silver emblems. I thought they were replacements. Do those exist OEM or is this how Toyota also does the blacked out emblems?

The overlay seemed like a "caveman can do it" option that was so appealing. You definitely lose some precision on the letters with the overlays. They do feel rock solid once on though.

The overlay seemed like a "caveman can do it" option that was so appealing. You definitely lose some precision on the letters with the overlays. They do feel rock solid once on though.

The overlays on the back chrome letters were stupid easy. Took 5 minutes. The side emblem replacement is an easy DIY project. First I used painters tape around the factory emblems to block off the top/bottom/side where I could to make lining up the new emblems easier. I used a heat gun ($19 at Home Depot) on high for about a minute to soften the adhesive backing on the factory emblems. A hair dryer for 5-10 minutes would be just as good. Then I ran a small piece of fishing line behind the emblems and it popped off. Picked off the remaining adhesive (didn’t need to use adhesive remover) and cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth. Application was super easy. Installed today in about an hour.

Indeed. My forays into Autotrader lead me farther and farther afield in search of my

2020 ORP KDSS in BR
No Moonroof, No Running boards

If nothing else, Autotrader listings reveal the wide variety in attention that dealers give to online listings.

So many continue to list CD players in their 2020s while also touting the new head unit. Did I miss a memo? Few use images of actual 2020s; fewer use images of the vehicle listed.

The moonroof is listed as an option for the ORP. Operationally, it’s a standard feature you cannot opt out of. Rest assured, there is a charge and that charge will appear on the invoice. But c’mon: literally *everybody* needs a moonroof, amirite?

A dealer in Boulder seemed to have my vehicle and the photos showed no moonroof as nearly as I could tell. The listing asserts that there is a moonroof. Wha?

I’m not in a hurry. Just amused at how difficult it is to find the vehicle spec’ed as preferred. And by what salesmen will tell you hoping you’ll buy from the inventory on their lot.

There's two in SoCal right now in BR with KDSS. I am looking for BR with no KDSS. What sites are you guys using? So far, CarGurus seem to be most reliable showing most recent pretty quickly. But I am not sure if there is another resource. AutoTrader and CarFax doesn't show what CarGurus shows.

My local dealer has one w/out KDSS but with moonroof...but it's in Iowa...MSRP is $43...listed on auto trader for $41...

I think I saw that one on CarGurus. I also saw one in Colorado (which is closer to me than Iowa) and have been talking to the dealer there. I would consider flying out to Colorado and driving it back but Iowa is a lot further. I do want the moonroof too.

Roger that. Would you be able to find anyone out there to do a dealer trade? Not sure if you would be able to negotiate that or not, but worth a look if the CO model falls through.

Heck, if you did come out, you could crash here to save you some hotel $$$.
