2021 4Runner Michigan Ordering Issues

Michigan dealer submitted my order for a 2021 TRD Offroad w/ prem. audio + KDSS the option. A month later dealer called and said Toyota denied the order due to KDSS.

Has anyone had this happen? Is there a way to get around this without having to order from another state and travel to get it/pay to have it shipped in?

The only reason for getting the TRD Offroad trim for me is the KDSS option. Without KDSS, I can drop down to SR5 trim and save about $5k.

Is KDSS worth $5k more? I really don't need anything else included in the TRD OR trim as it will be daily drive / mostly highway driving.

KDSS reduces body roll also less bucking on uneven surfaces On an sr5 you can achieve similar results with a quality suspension upgrade.

Wouldn't shocks/springs that eliminate some of this body roll also make for a stiffer ride in all other conditions? If so, was the tradeoff worth it?

A good linear progressive shock like kings, fox, icon stage 2, Elka valved correctly to your preferences will not yield a stiff ride.

edit:: when I say shock setup I mean shock and the right spring combination.
