2023 Limited camera quality

Just got the 2023. It has whatever the camera setup is for the Limited. Believe it’s a 360-type setup. Now I know I was using it at dusk but I could literally make out no details in any of the camera views. Backup cam was awful. I’ll try again in the daylight, but are they all this bad?

Yes, sadly the camera hasn't been updated that I know of, the reverse camera is awful. I put an HD camera up front and the difference is night and day. The only advice I can give you is to play with the brightness and contrast to dial it in a bit

There are other threads on this, but I've got a '22 Limited (has the surround view aka "MTM" like yours) and yes the rear view camera display quality is garbage.

We know:
- Without MTM, the quality is better
- All of the trims have the same part number for the rear camera
- So, crappy head unit software

It might be a bit better with the brightness and contrast all the way up, but I need a little time to experiment and confirm. Thanks.

I am being totally lazy...well not totally but close...can one just swap out a HD camera for the OEM and get a better rez on the screen? Or does the HD break the stitching of 360 in the LE? It's not clear to me if you can just swap (contemplating 12v vs 6v if that matters here) a better front/rear cam for the crappy OEM ones. I like the side cams for parking but figure if the stitching gets jacked up I can just deal with it.
