$20K more for a land cruiser?

Yes and NO...

at my current tax bracket position, no way...i am new to Runners to begin with, and i couldnt love my 2014 Runner anymore than i already do...i miss it when my wife drives it, i look out my front window just to gaze over its beauty...

however...

I love love love the 2008 or newer LCs. I cannot tell you how many youtube 'reviews' i watched on them, contemplating if i actually wanted a 1999-2004 model for my new-to-me daily driver. I oggled a brand new one at the Toyo dealership where i bought my runner...and if that Power Ball jackpot ever comes my way, that will be on the list of where i will be stopping to spend some of that cash...

then my wife can drive the Runner all she wants, because-in the words of Mr Jim Kelly, I'll be too busy looking goooood...in my LC. :fro:

I would definitely do it for $20k, but as mentioned in a lot of the other posts I think its a lot more. LC is worth a lot more used, much more stout as well.

Our family vehicle & wife's work commute SUV, is a 2008 RAV4 Limited, 4x4 v6...purchased with 55,000 original miles (89,500 Km).
- in 4 years, we had fully intended to replace it with a newer 4Runner / for the v6
- we don't need the extra interior room or longer wheelbase / as I'm retired & no grand kids on the horizon

But our son just bought a new AWD 2015 Lexus RX350 / and its probably closer to a $15,000 premium loaded (Canadian $) vs. the Toyota 4Runner.
- most likely just take his used Lexus over, when son upgrades

I know next to zilch about a new Land Cruiser / not even sold around here.
- if I wanted an upscale 4Runner (kept in stock form) / Lexus RX350 would be my more expensive choice, over Toyota T4R
- we really like the 2015 Lexus a lot, unfortunately the 2016 model grew approx 8" longer

New LC or Lexus, over cheaper 4Runner - maybe that's more vehicle, to truly consider?
