22" rims on a 2005 4runner

Depends on offset of the rims. The tire is only a 29.5" diameter. The T4R accomadates up to 32" with ease... At that width there may be some UCA (upper control arm) rubbing with the steering wheel cut all the way.

They're 31.6". Sorry but we don't have much experience with larger wheel diameters. You're probably looking at 22x9 or 22x10 wheels. Most will have negative (-13 to -25 ) offset to accomodate the wider wheel / tire. I'd imagine spacers might be necessary on 10" wide wheels.

The O.D. won't be a problem. How wide are the rims? What's the offset/backspace? Without knowing that it's hard to guess. Rook summed it up, :iagree: with him.
