'22 Toyota OEM "High Performance Fog Lamps" vs "standard" LEDs

Some of the ORPs on dealer website Factory Window Stickers show a "High Performance Fog Lamp's upgrade for $169.00. The ORP we're picking up does not have the upgrade. Are they much better than the stock LED fog lamps that come on the '22 ORP? Easy to install? We have a Costco coupon for 15% off Toyota parts and Accessories .

That's the confusing part...they are listed as an add-on on one of the '22 ORPs I saw, but not at ours. It does say they're an upgrade for standard Halogen

The way the dealer described them was the "regular" LED fog lights were a reflector type, and the HP version are projector type. The link you posted doesn't say if they're better than standard LEDs though.

That's incorrect. The standard LED fogs are reflector, whereas the high performance versions are projector lens.

Did you check out the link I put in your last thread? The OP in that thread said the standard LED fogs don't have as wide of a beam pattern compared to the LED projectors, but otherwise very similar.

As far as replacing them, they're very easy. You take out the bolts to the forward part of the fender liner, peel back the liner and you can get a small screwdriver in there to take out the fog light assemblies.

You are going to want Diode Dynamic Fog lights. I could barely tell the stock LED fogs were even on.
